SOLO MICRO CAR
The car industry is on the verge of change and the traditional car may be about to be joined by different vehicles that are fitter for purpose as A-B personal Transportation. A person living alone may only need a solo run-about. A new company has been established to build a new superlightweight voiturette/light cycle car for one person plus large sportsbag (maybe 1+1?), using active, not passive, safety systems (to give it collision avoidance/mitigation characteristics). The vehicle may use a 300cc combustion engine or electric drivetrain. It will be very light in weight and fully enclosed. This is not a small car but more of a machine in its own category. (Think a modern day Messerschmitt Tiger).
